Is joining another direct sales company the right answer?

It seems that quite a few work at home moms end up joining two, or three, or four, and even five or more direct sales companies. Sometimes it’s because they get excited about a new company or product and join right away. Other times it’s because one business isn’t bringing in enough money and adding another business is an attempt to increase income.

Running mulitple businesses, particularly multiple direct sales businesses, is probably not the answer.

I think it’s important to have multiple streams of income, but your second and subsequent income sources should be businesses or income sources that don’t require direct interaction with your customers. Income sources that will earn money for you even while you’re spending your time promoting and running your primary business.
