Hi Paul. I'm not sure if you're looking for tips on starting your blog or starting your mailing list. Either way I'd recommend you start by figuring out what your target market is looking for. You can either provide information that's in demand but not easy to find elsewhere; or do a better job of providing in demand information that is readily available elsewhere. Hi Charles. Thanks for stopping by. I agree and I don’t recommend cold calling or cold mailing. What this post talks about, and what I do recommend is an opt-in mailing list that your website visitors subscribe to.

Common sense tells me mailing lists are a very outdated method of getting prospective customers. How do you know if the names and addresses are good or updated? You don’t. Personally I believe this is throwing money away. Online is the best way to increase business. Cold calling and cold mailing is expensive and not reliable. If I want something, I can do a search online. It’s that simple. Phone calls and mailings will not persuade me to buy anything. Great blog here.
